Below is a list of the New Testament books we have published to date. Although these publications are still preliminary they are being used currently by Bakwé Christians. We are publishing these booklets in diglot format, with French on one side and Bakwé on the other. The reason for this is two-fold. First, French remains the language of higher education and most Bakwé want their kids to learn it. However, many Bakwé have not learned French well enough to understand the Scriptures in French. Having the Bakwé right across the page will help understanding. Second, the educated Bakwé who have gained a higher education are often rusty in their Bakwé and unable to effectively evangelise their parents. Having the Bakwé translation right across from the French will help them in communicating with other Bakwé speakers.
