Welcoming Students into God’s Family to Love all of Christ, for all of Life, for all the World
International Student Fellowship is a ministry of Christ Church that seeks to welcome international students into God’s Family to love all of Christ, for all of life, for all the world. We do this, in part, with a delicious dinner, friendship, and Bible study every Monday during the school year at 6pm at the Campus Christian Center (822 Elm St).
Here are several ways to get involved:
- “Like” the ISF Facebook Page to stay in the know for the ISF goings-on:
- Join the Monday night dinner and bible study during the school year at the Campus Christian Center (this is the best way to meet internationals)
- Join the Friendship Family program through the UI and connect with one or two internationals for dinners, hikes, holidays or whatever is happening
- Help cook dinner for a Monday meeting (click below for this semester)

In his Great Commission, Jesus sent his disciples to all nations with the goal to make more disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). And what is so unique for our church is that the nations are coming to Moscow, and Jesus still calls us to make disciples! Young men and women from China, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Vietnam, Côte d’Ivoire, Thailand and many other countries are here as students and many will return to their country as future leaders. “I was a stranger, and you welcomed me” (Matthew 25:35). These words of Jesus are central for the mission of ISF. All of us are strangers—some are strangers to Moscow, and all are strangers to God the Father. But because of Jesus, strangers are welcomed into the family of God. At the center of this family is God’s love for his children, who are no longer strangers. And because God loves us, we celebrate! So at ISF, expect to find a family partying with lots of food, laughter, singing, more food, maybe a little dancing, and learning to grow in our love and obedience for Jesus. You are invited to join with ISF welcoming strangers into God’s family to love all of Christ, for all of life, for all the world.
